Teenage Takemichi is in his second year of middle school, having the best time of his life. He had respect, a solid group of friends, and even a girlfriend. He is the protagonist who spends the most time in the spotlight, as the majority of his plan to defend Hinata takes place when he travels back in time. His hair is coloured blond and styled in a faux hawk to keep his "punk" image.
In the present, Takemichi is a washed-up nobody who is mocked by children and obliged to apologise to his younger boss on a regular basis. He can be seen in his natural-colored black messy hair.
The series also shows Takemichi in the present after a different timeline is established due to his actions that changed the past. He is the top manager of Toman in present now and Instead of his messy hair, this Takemichi has his hair slicked back, giving him a considerably cleaner appearance than his episode one debut.
